Spicy Chili Oil Udon

Ingredients
  • 2 Packages J-Basket JAPANESE UDON NOODLE
  • ½ Shallot
  • 2 Cloves Garlic
  • 2 Tbsp. Kikkoman Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. Gochugaru (Korean chili flakes)
  • 2 Tbsp. Dynasty Hot Chili Oil
  • 1 Tsp. Nishiki Rice Vinegar
  • 1 Tsp. Dynasty Sesame Oil
  • 1 Tsp. Sugar
  • 2½ Tbsp. Oil
  • 3 green onions, sliced vertically (garnish)
  • 2 green onions, roughly chopped
Directions
  1. Start by finely dicing your shallots and mincing garlic into a bowl.
  2. Vertically slice the green onions into thin strips. Soak them in a bowl of water and set aside.
  3. Add Kikkoman soy sauce, Gochugaru, Dynasty chili oil, Nishiki rice vinegar, Dynasty Sesame oil, and sugar. Mix well.
  4. On medium-high heat, add oil, shallots, rough chopped green onions, and minced garlic to a large pan. Toss for 30 seconds, and then add the sauce mixture. Stir and then turn the heat off.
  5. Remove the sliced green onion and curl it around your finger to create rings.
  6. Cook your J-Basket Japanese udon noodles according to the packaging.
  7. Mix udon in with the sauce and top with curled green onions.
  8. Serve and enjoy!
