California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) Notice At Collection

This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how JFC International, Inc. (“JFC”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, processes, protects, or otherwise handles the information that visitors, users, and others (“consumers” or “you”) provide to us when you visit jfc.com (the “site” or “website”). Voluntarily Submitted Information

Marketing Emails

Marketing emails you receive from JFC include instructions on how to unsubscribe from and opt-out of receiving future marketing-related emails. Telemarketing

Federal “Do Not Call” laws allow you to place your phone numbers on the National Do Not Call Registry to prohibit many telemarketing calls to those numbers. To add your numbers to this list, please call 1-888-382-1222 or visit the National Do Not Call Registry.

However, please be aware that most telemarketing laws allow companies to contact their own customers without consulting the federal or state Do Not Call list. We do not knowingly market to or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13 without obtaining verifiable parental consent.

This Privacy Notice for California Residents (“Notice”) supplements the information contained in the Privacy Policy and applies solely to California residents. We adopt this notice to comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2010 (“CCPA”), California Civil Code §§ 1798.100 et seq. Any terms defined in the CCPA have the same meaning when used in this Privacy Notice.

Right to Know

You have the right to know and request that we disclose what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and sell about you (the “right to know”). To submit a verifiable request for this information, please follow the procedure described in the section below titled “Exercising Your Rights to Know or Delete.” That section describes how to make a request and the general process we will use to verify your request, including the information you will need to provide us. You have the right to request that we delete personal information that we collected from you, subject to certain exceptions. If we use or disclose sensitive personal information for reasons other than those set forth in CCPA § 7027, subsection (m), you have the right to limit the use or disclosure of that sensitive personal information by us. However, as described within this policy, we do not use of disclose sensitive personal information for any other purposes at this time.

Right to Non-Discrimination for the Exercise of Rights

You have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment by us for the exercise of privacy rights conferred by the CCPA, including an employee's, applicant's, or independent contractor's right not to be retaliated against for the exercise of their CCPA rights.

We may, however, offer you certain financial incentives permitted by the CCPA that can result in different prices, rates, or quality levels. Any CCPA-permitted financial incentive we offer will reasonably relate to your personal information's value and contain written terms that describe the program's material aspects. Participation in a financial incentive program requires your prior opt-in consent, which you may revoke at any time.

Exercising Your Rights Under the CCPA

To exercise your rights under the CCPA described above, please submit a request to us by either:

To designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf, you must complete and submit an Authorized Agent Designation form, which you can obtain by writing, emailing, or calling us at the addresses or phone numbers provided above. Authorized agents that have been provided a power of attorney pursuant to California Probate Code sections 4000-4465 may submit their documentation directly without completion of this form You may also make a consumer request on behalf of your minor child.

You may only submit a request to know twice within a 12-month period. Your request to know or delete must:

We cannot respond to your request or provide you with personal information if we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request and confirm the personal information relates to you.  You do not need to create an account with us to submit a request to know or delete. We will only use personal information provided in the request to verify the requestor's identity or authority to make it.

You may only make a consumer request for access or data portability twice within a 12-month period.

Response Timing and Format

We will confirm receipt of your request within ten (10) business days. If you do not receive confirmation within the 10-day timeframe, please contact us by emailing jfchr@jfc.com.

We endeavor to substantively respond to a verifiable consumer request within 45 days of its receipt.  If we require more time (up to another 45 days), we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing. We will deliver our written response by mail or electronically, at your option.  Any disclosures we provide will only cover the 12-month period preceding our receipt of your request. The response we provide will also explain the reasons we cannot comply with a request, if any.

For data portability requests, we will select a format to provide your personal information that is readily useable and should allow you to transmit the information from one entity to another entity without hindrance.

We do not charge a fee to process or respond to your verifiable consumer request unless it is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded.  If we determine that the request warrants a fee, we will tell you why we made that decision and provide you with a cost estimate before completing your request.
