Beef Steak Salad

Ingredients
  • 2 lb flank steak
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Dynasty Fish Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon Dynasty Sesame Oil
  • 2 large heads romaine, sliced thin
  • 1 cup grape tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup Persian cucumbers, sliced thin
  • ½ red onion, sliced thin
  • ¼ cup fresh mint leaves
  • Lime wedges, for serving
Directions
  1. Place a large skillet over high heat for 2 minutes. Season the flank steak all over with salt and pepper, then sear for 5 minutes. Flip and sear a further 5 minutes, or until the steak reaches an internal temperature of at least 135º F. Tent with foil and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, prepare the dressing: whisk olive oil, Dynasty Fish Sauce, lime juice, brown sugar, and Dynasty Sesame Oil until combined.
  3. Add romaine, tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion, and mint leaves to the bowl and toss until coated. Place the salad onto a serving platter and top with slices of steak. Serve and enjoy!
