Berry Panko Crumble

Ingredients
  • Berries:
  • 4 cups of fresh or frozen berries
  • 2 tablespoons of cornstarch
  • 3 tablespoons of granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Panko Crumble:

  • ¾ cup Dynasty Panko Breadcrumbs
  • ¼ cup of all purpose flour
  • ¼ cup of brown sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon of salt
  • 6 tablespoons of butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons of coarse sugar
  • Vanilla ice cream, for serving
  • Mint leaves, for garnish
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees
  2. Butter four 4 inch individual baking dishes or one 8 inch pie dish
  3. In a large bowl, combine 3 cups of fresh fruit with cornstarch, sugar and vanilla extract.
  4. Transfer the fruit into the prepared baking dishes and set aside.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine  Dynasty Panko Breadcrumbs with purpose flour, brown sugar and salt. Add melted butter and vanilla extract and mix until a heavy crumble forms.
  6. Top the fruit evenly with the crumble
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes (4” individual dishes) or 30-35 minutes (8” pie dish) or until the crumble is golden brown and the fruit is bubbly
  8. Let the crumble rest on a cooling rack for 15 minutes before serving
  9. Top with vanilla ice cream and garnish with mint leaves and enjoy warm
