Karami Chicken Wings

Ingredients
  • 5 chicken wings
  • 1 Tbsp white wine
  • 1 Tbsp. ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp. chili bean sauce
  • 1 tsp. Nishiki rice vinegar
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. Dynasty oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp. garlic paste
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 2 Tbsp. cake flour
Directions
  1. Combine the white wine, ketchup, chili bean sauce, rice vinegar, salt, oyster sauce, garlic paste, and sugar in a bowl. Add in the chicken wings and toss to combine. Allow the chicken wings to marinate for 30 minutes. 
  2. Add enough vegetable oil to a pot so that it is 1 inch deep. Heat it to 325˚F.
  3. Add the cornstarch and cake flour to the chicken wings. Mix to combine. 
  4. Add the chicken wings to the hot oil. Fry for about 3 minutes on each side. Then increase the oil temperature to 375˚F and cook for an additional minute on each side.
  5. Remove the chicken wings from the oil and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain. Top with Jbasket Sriracha Sesame Seeds and green onion. Enjoy!
