Orange and Herb-Infused Breadcrumbs

Ingredients
  • Orange zest from 1 orange
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • Herbs (parsley, basil, dill, etc.) combined total of 10g (0.4oz)
  • 60g (2.1oz) Unsalted butter
  • 80g (2.8oz) Dynasty Panko Breadcrumbs
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • A pinch of pepper
Directions
  1. Wash the orange thoroughly, thinly peel the zest ensuring no white pith remains, and finely chop it.
  2. Finely chop the garlic and herbs.
  3. Place a frying pan over medium heat and melt the unsalted butter with the garlic. Once the butter is melted and fragrant, add the breadcrumbs and mix well to combine.
  4. Add the herbs and continue to mix with a spatula until the mixture turns a light golden brown.
  5. Finally, add the orange zest, salt, and pepper, and mix briefly before removing from heat.
  6. Transfer to a baking sheet lined with kitchen paper, spread it out evenly, and allow it to cool.
