Oyster Sauce Gravy Poutine

Ingredients
  • 1 bag of Frozen hand cut fries
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • ⅛ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 cup Dynasty Oyster Sauce
Directions

To Make the French Fries:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Spread fries on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer and bake according to package instructions.

To Make the Gravy:

  1. While the fries bake, heat one teaspoon of olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat and add minced garlic, thyme, and pepper to the saucepan. Cook the mixture for 2 minutes.
  2. Whisk in the butter until melted. Stir in flour, cooking the roux for 4 to 5 minutes or until browned.
  3. Gradually add the Dynasty Oyster Sauce
  4. and half cup of water to the saucepan, whisking until smooth after each addition.
  5. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce to a simmer for 2 minutes.

Assembly:

  1. Place the hot fries on a serving plate and pour very hot gravy over the fries.
  2. Serve immediately and enjoy!
