Sausage Yaki Udon (Spicy Sausage)

Ingredients
  • 2 packs (approx. 14 oz) J Basket Udon Noodles
  • 2 J Basket Spicy Jumbo Pork Sausages, sliced (replace with Jalapeno version for spicier meal, or original for non spicy)
  • 1 cup sliced cabbage
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup Kikkoman Soy Sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. Dynasty Oyster Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. Kikkoman Aji Mirin
  • 1 Tbsp. J-Basket Organic Sesame Oil
  • 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • Green onions, chopped, for garnish
  • J-Basket Roasted White Sesame Seeds, for garnish
Directions
  1. Cook J Basket Udon Noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add sliced J Basket Spicy Jumbo Pork Sausages and cook until browned. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  3. Sauté Vegetables:
  4. In the same pan, add garlic, sliced cabbage, julienned carrot, bell pepper, broccoli florets, and thinly sliced onion. Sauté until the vegetables are tender yet crisp.
  5. Make the sauce: In a small bowl, mix Kikkoman soy sauce, oyster sauce, mirin, sesame oil, and sugar.
  6. Add the cooked udon noodles, sliced sausages, and the prepared sauce to the vegetables in the pan. Stir-fry everything together until well combined and heated through. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Enjoy!
